| ARENAL VOLCANO AND SURROUNDING AREAS |
|
This is the main volcanic attraction of the country's northern region. Dating back 2-3 million years, this peak has an almost perfect cone-shape, soaring 5,360 feet into the sky. You may decide to enjoy a thermal bath at the nearby Tabacon Resort, where hot subterranean mineral waters, coming from the volcano with temperatures close to 95º F, are canalized through several swimming pools.
An exquisite dinner will be served at this place while we admire the splendid view of the volcano. We will stay here part of the early evening and, depending upon weather conditions; we might be able to see a volcanic eruption. |

| AERIAL TRAM |
|
Upon arrival you will be received by the aerial tram staff and then transferred from your bus to a smaller one for a 2km ride down hill and across a little creek via a small road surrounded by jungle and with spectacular landscapes of the rain forest. at this point the staff will give you a speech and show you a video on how this all started for as a conservation project. right after this groups will be divided in smaller groups for a 40-45 minutes walk along a comfortable trail accompanied by a naturalist tour guide that will provide information about the surrounding habitats. the ride on the aerial tram is of 90 minutes ( 2600m ).

| SAN JOSE CITY TOUR |
|
See some of the most important and interesting sights of Costa Rica's capital city. The National Museum once home to the abolished army. The National Theater was finished in 1897. View the Central Park, drive by La Sabana Metropolitan Park and through the Rohrmoser residential area, home to many embassies accredited in Costa Rica. Make a stop at the handicraft shops of Moravia.

| IRAZÚ VOLCANO |
|
Known by the Costa Rican indians as the "mountain of rumbling and trembling" Irazu soars 11,260 feet above sea level and spreads over 2,309 hectares. It is the highest peak of the Central Volcanic Range and the largest volcano in Costa Rica. On your way to Irazu National Park, you will be surprised when you see how the vegetation swiftly varies from large plantations of onions and carrots, lands for dairy cattle, and primary and secondary forests of white oak, to a paramo right at the volcano's summit.
Once at the misty Volcano, you will be atonished by its moon-like landscape scarcely populated with plant growth around the craters due to volcanic eruptions.
On your way back to San Jose, we will drive through our former capital Cartago where we will take you to the ruins of the old parish and the magnificent Basilica de los Angeles, our most important church. |

| TORTUGA ISLAND CRUISE |
|
We will pick you up to drive to Puntarenas province ( 1:30 m ride) then aboard Manta Ray Catamaran Cruise on our journey to Tortuga Island. Enjoy your favorite cocktail and listen to a tropical band as we navigate the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, touring the Nicoya Gulf and its islands full of marine fauna. Once at the island, you may swim or snorkel in crystal-clear waters, play volleyball, walk or explore the pearl-white sandy beach. Upon returning to the ship, a freshwater shower awaits you, prior to board the ship. |

| LA PAZ WATERFALL |

Departure to La Paz Waterfall Gardens, our duration 2h driving time 1h 30m from San José, with 70 acres of wildlife and forest to explore, waterfall gardens allows visitors wonder through 3.5 kilometers of paved trails which take you above, below and right next to five awesome waterfalls and the biggest butterfly farm.

| RAFTING PACUARE (CLASS III, IV) |
|
Tour to Pacuare river class lll – IV, this is one of the nicest rivers in Costa Rica, located on the Atlantic side, it’ll take about 3 ½ hour to get there including the breakfast stop, and then you will spend about 5 hours on the river including lunch stop, this river has pretty fun rapids starting with class III and then at the end the class IV all this surrounded by jungle and beautiful waterfalls all along. |

| POÁS VOLCANO & SARCHI |

Early in the morning we will visit the Poás Volcano, which, though not as high as Irazu, is an impressive sight with its crater, 300 Mts. deep and 1500 Mts. wide, usually active with smoke discharges. A trail leads to a crystal blue lagoon, amidst tropical ferns and forest filled with exotic flowers and brilliantly plumed birds.
On the way back we will visit Sarchi. This place has been the center of production for the colorful oxcart that graced Costa Rican fields, here you will be able to see artisans at work and purchase gorgeous hand-carved articles. |

| TURU BA RI TROPICAL FOREST |

Located in Turrubares is this Tropical Forest, strong in eco-tourism and adventure, surrounded per amazing scenic beauties places like Carara National Park. This park have exotic activities like the Aerial Tram (made by POMA-Galski), Butterflies Garden, trails, canopy, Sensational Cable (unique in Latin America, for adrenaline fanatics!) and much more. |
